If you are trying to get your immune system in order getting some elderberry in is the key. There are over 40 types of elderberry but the most common one used is sambucus nigra. This has been used for a long time mostly in tea. Which is often water, blueberries and some type of sweetener. But you also can get this in supplements, powders, tinctures etc. it is often said that on the very contains vitamin C which is true. But during the cooking process a lot of it is lost because vitamin C is heat sensitive. Also the cooking time depletes this essential vitamin as well. This is mostly used to reduce sickness and influenza.
The body can heal itself if it is given the proper resources. But too often we are running on 50% or lower and don't even know it. This is why education is key to avoid being miseducated or uneducated. And since this is the only body that we will ever have we have to take care of it.

Think about this if you eat three times a day and seven times a week that is 21 times are eating. Only being on the toilet three times if that something is not adding up. Especially since the majority of what we are consuming it's not being absorbed.
They is also contains in antioxidants which help reduce free radicals. Free radicals are a natural part of cell metabolism. But too many of them causes of oxidative stress which is damaging. Anytime there is free radicals there is some form of inflammation. Think of free radicals as fire🔥 antioxidants as water 💦.
This is great for digestion especially constipation, bloating, acid reflux, ulcers, prebiotic etc. They contain anthocyanins, flavonoids, phenolic acids etc that have an antioxidant effect. One of the body's main antioxidants is vitamin e. The berries have been shown to have three times that a month. The juice on a berries have been shown to reduce the fat levels/cholesterol in the blood.
