Turmeric benefits

It's not about what you are consuming but is more about what's inside what you are consuming. The most active compound in turmeric is called curcumin. If you consume turmeric without fat/ oil or a black pepper co enzyme curcumin cannot be used in the body. The black pepper, fat and oil makes the curcumin more bioavailable. This way it will stop the body from breaking down turmeric. If you love curry turmeric is the main ingredient. Interested enough black pepper is always present in Curry. Black pepper alone increases the absorption by 2,000%.

They say when you don't use muscle you will lose it. The same thing happens with the brain, this is why learning has to be done daily. Brain derived neurotropic factor bdnf is a protein that helps with the survival of cell nerves (neurons) in the growth, maturation and maintenance of the cell.  It is present where the nerve cells communicate at.  When a person is suffering from Alzheimer's disease or depression the bdnf levels are lower. Turmeric increases these levels.

This spice is great for inflammation especially chronic problems or soreness from exercising.  Anytime you decrease inflammation you reduce free radicals.

It contains antioxidants which help reduce free radicals. Free radicals are a natural part of cell metabolism. But too many of them cause oxidative stress which is damaging. Anytime there is free radicals there is some form of inflammation. Think of free radicals as fire🔥 antioxidants as water 💦.

In the world we are living in the body produces abnormal levels of cortisol. Cortisol is a stress hormone which also increases free radicals. This is why learning about the body should be mandatory in kindergarten through the 12th grade because we're living in it our whole life.

Stress increases free radicals; free radicals increase inflammation and also cholesterol will increase as well. Cholesterol is not bad is that the foundation of every hormone produced. But this excess cholesterol from stress floats around the body to decrease the inflammation. The main places on the land is the heart and the arteries. Which leads up to plaque and tumors have been shown to decrease the cholesterol that causes the plaque.
